1. Using the Tech2 diagnostic tool, plug tool into OBDII connector and turn on the power for the Tech2 2. Hit the enter key, then select diagnostics 3. Select year of vehicle 4. Select type of vehicle—“Passenger car” for CTS; “MPV” for SRX 5. Select Cadillac 6. Select “D” body for CTS; Select “E” body for SRX 7. Select Body 8. Choose Radio type 9. Select Radio 10. Select Special Functions 11. Select Set Options 12. Select Optional Modules 13. Select Continue 14. If the star (*) icon is not next to “Digital Radio Receiver(DRR)”, highlight line, and hit enter. The star icon will appear 15. Hit “save options” 16. Insert key and cycle ignition. Press the “Band” button on the radio until XM is displayed.
