Posted by Anonymous 0 komentar
Aquariums are becoming a hot item. Since nature is highly polluted people are starting to appreciate the beauty of nature, thus today they are bringing nature to their home. The new aquariums today make it easy, since technology has combined technical, electrical, and natural resources to pool aquariums together, which includes switches, controls, etc. The features enable aquarium users to do less and have more.

This new changes has brought on the need also to research information to help aquarists learn how to maintain fish tanks, and learn fish care. With this in mind, we have compiled all information needed and related to fish care and aquariums. In the report, you will learn the types of fish, aquariums, care, filters, and more. With this in mind, we have compiled 50 chapters related to fish care and aquariums. In the report, you will learn the types of fish, aquariums, care, filters, and more for setting up and maintaining your home aquarium set.

Freshwater fish have advantages, since the fish will adapt to most Aquarium types. Freshwater fish tend to be more relaxed and informal than saltwater fish. For that reason, freshwater fish is the choice for starters. Freshwater fish embrace the tropical and the Coldwater fishes. Saltwater fish include the Powder Blue Surgeonfish and the Clown Surgeonfish. Additional saltwater fish include the Gold Rim Surgeonfish, Leopard Filefish, Orange Fin Anemone, Black Back Anemone, Clown and Red Girdled Anemone, Frogfish, and the Yellow-Tailed Anemones. You will find a wide selection in both saltwater fish and freshwater fish. The freshwater fish include the common goldfish, Reedfish, Banjo Catfish, Bumblebee Goby, and so on. Most freshwater fish adapt to peaceful waters, as well as clean waters, however few prefer peaty waters. Once you establish the type of fish, he will need to move on to choosing your tank. Saltwater fish tend to enjoy the Reef Tanks. Reef tanks comprise underwater ridges. The ridges comparable to scientifically studied ridges, which include biology, chemistry, and geology. The reef tanks generally include rock and coral. If you are considering goldfish, the reef tank is not a preferred tank by goldfish. Download free Aquarium & Fish Care Tactics.pdf here

Growing Bonsai Indoors

How do they feel about being inside? One of the most common misconceptions about bonsai is that they should be grown indoors. With the exception of tropicals and sub tropicals, all bonsai should be grown outdoors. Temperate climate woody plants must go through a period of cold dormancy in order to survive. This dormancy completes a yearly cycle. In deciduous trees this is a very obvious phenomenon, however, temperate evergreens such as juniper also need to go through this cycle. Tropicals and similar "houseplants" can be successfully trained for bonsai and grown indoors year round. In mild climates, temperate bonsai should remain outdoors year round. In cold climates, temperate climate plants should be grown outdoors during the warm seasons of the year, but will need winter protection.

The Need for Strong Light The major problems in indoor growing are the lack of intense light. Even if you kept your bonsai in an unobstructed south facing window, I doubt that the light would be sufficient for many species of woody plants. Most people just don't understand how dark it is in the house, even in front of a window. Consider that, outside, the light comes from not only the direct sun, but from 180 degrees of sky plus all the reflected light of objects in the other 180 degrees.

Light from a window is little better than a point source of light. You can correct this by putting your bonsai in the sunniest window of your house, but not too close to the glass or it will experience excessive heat buildup. This light may be too intense for some tropicals that are used to growing on the forest floor, but for most woody temperate climate plants it is still insufficient. Couple this with an overhead fluorescent lamp for these species. Keep the lamp about six inches above the plant. Twin forty watt fixtures are inexpensive to purchase and use. Special bulbs are not necessary, I personally use a mixture of cool white and warm white in my indoor fluorescent light fixture for indoor bonsai growing. Keep the lamp on 12 hours a day to augment the sunlight. If you lack a window with sufficient light for even low light tropicals, you can safely use fluorescent lamps as the only source of light. Growing Bonsai

Bonsai are miniature trees grown in pots. The aim of bonsai culture is to develop a tiny tree that has all the elements of a large tree growing in a natural setting. This look is achieved, principally, by branch and root pruning and shaping, but other factors are also important. The texture of the trunk, its look of age, the moss and the under plantings in the container — all contribute to the illusion of a miniature tree as it is seen in nature.

A presentable bonsai can be created in a few seasons. Cultivating these miniature potted trees is both an intriguing hobby, and a means of adapting a wide range of plants to specialized and decorative uses. Bonsai require daily watering during their growing season, and, because the plants are rooted in shallow pots, careful pruning. Bonsai are kept outdoors most of the year, but — from time to time — these miniaturized versions of nature are brought indoors for display. Only certain tropical trees, shrubs, and vines can be continually kept indoors full time as bonsai.

Bonsai, as an art form, stems from ancient oriental culture. It originated in China and was developed by the Japanese. In the 13th century, the Japanese collected and potted wild trees that had been dwarfed by nature. These naturally formed miniatures were the first bonsai. When demand for the small trees outstripped the supply, Japanese gardeners began to train bonsai from native trees. They shaped the trees to give them the illusion of age and naturalness. Over the years, the Japanese devised standards of shape and form, which gradually began the classic bonsai styles.

American bonsai are much freer in concept and style than Japanese bonsai. American bonsai growers have recognized that the horticultural and aesthetic rules are important, but are specifically aimed at Japanese culture. Because of this, Americans have taken oriental styles and applied them to plants never grown by the Japanese. Therefore, the rigid procedures and names used by the Japanese are not used in this bulletin. Download free Growing Bonsai.pdf here

Guitar Tapping Tips And Techniques

Posted by Anonymous 0 komentar
Although made popular recently by Eddie VanHalen, guitar tapping or right hand `legatos' is a technique players have been executing for years. Country players know the benefit of laying down a nice subtle lead and just putting in those quick hammers with clear guitar tapping. And while it's not the easiest thing, guitar finger tapping techniques are really nothing much more then fast hammer on and a pull offs. Whether you use your middle finger or your first, most times you can hold the pick as usual to execute your guitar tapping and get the speed and positioning essential to good guitar tapping techniques. But like anything else, guitar tapping takes practice and patience.

Since this is a highly specialized, yet popular way of playing we hear a lot of player's guitar tapping these days=85and just as many tapping badly. Especially when a guitar is cranked through distortion, a whole host of extra noises will come out if the player's guitar finger tapping techniques aren't the cleanest. An important trick to `clean−up' when you are cranked through that Marshall Stack and you're in "overdrive", is to rest the back of your right hand on the lower strings for muting; what you want to avoid is these string making a lot of extra noise while you get that guitar tapping in one steady movement. Of course, if you're a rock player you are most likely already dreaming of the all−too flashy `cross−handed tapping' but this is so impractical it only ever works when playing live (and even then it is a hard to get those guitar tapping progressions cooking in this way!) Admittedly though, this particular type of guitar tapping, above all other types of guitar finger tapping techniques, creates a truly distinct tone.

There are hundreds of videos and books that show guitar tapping tips, but as it is with everything else, you can't even begin to understand how guitar tapping works until you get up and do it yourself. Although modern listeners have been conditioned to want speed like Eddie V., it is more important to get the strong and clear sound of each note then to sacrifice technique for potential sloppiness. Guitar finger tapping techniques are only good if you can do them; nothing sounds worse then reaching for a flashy technique and not being able to pull it off. As with everything else you learn on guitar, if you mater a technique on acoustic then you can feel all that more confident trying it on electric. Introduction to Aeromodeling

The Basics This is the start of a new series which has the sole purpose of attracting people to the hobby and sport of model aviation. Notice that I wrote “hobby” and “sport”; the hobby aspect involves building and assembling model aircraft, and the sport part involves the flying. As you will quickly learn, you don’t have to be a builder to be a flier! But as time goes along, I hope you will want to learn to do both. Throughout this series it is our intention to explain all facets of model aviation. Monthly articles geared toward the beginner and the intermediate will become a regular from now on. Sometimes a single subject will be presented, and at other times you may see several subjects in a single month. Magazine issues tend to get lost or misplaced. Unless you faithfully make your own scrapbook of information, data retrieval becomes a problem. The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) has every intention of making this series available on CD-ROM and on a dedicated Web site. In both cases, the idea is to make all the information accessible and easy to locate for as long as you need it. In addition to monthly articles, it is also hoped to publish key questions readers ask. These FAQs (Frequently-Asked Questions) will be cataloged by subject matter and placed on CD-ROM and in Web-site format for the aid of the beginners. Where to Start? You might be out driving on a summer day and pass by a model-aircraft flying field. You see a model in the sky maneuvering much like a full-scale airplane. At first you might think it is a full-scale airplane. You stop and watch, then think “I’d like to try that.” But how do you take that first step?

TEACH YOURSELF GUITAR USING FLASH

Posted by Anonymous 0 komentar
Download free Teach yourself guitar using Flash.pdf As a resource, the Internet is able to provide information on a huge array of subjects. The environment the medium provides allows those who wish to educate themselves on any particular subject the ability to learn at their own pace. Tutorials are and excellent way for someone to learn a subject they have never before had experience with, as they involve the user in the learning process. This is why I chose the Internet as a delivery medium for an interactive guitar tutorial site. The traditional way to learn guitar would be to buy or rent a guitar and then attend lessons with a tutor. In some cases, such as remote areas this is not possible. This creates a need for an alternative means of learning. Although there are books and videos available for learning guitar, they face certain disadvantages.

First of all, both are limited by their length. Content cannot be added after the product has been purchased. Also the nature of video makes self-paced learning a difficult endeavor. One must start and stop the tape at different times, sometimes during each session, to practice what has just been taught. Videos also make learning guitar in a non-linear fashion near impossible. Books are also inadequate, as they do not provide multimedia instruction on how to play the guitar. Although pictures are available, they often do not convey all of the information a video is able to. The Internet provides an environment where the user is in total control over the way lessons are delivered and ordered. Multimedia content can be downloaded and viewed in any sequence making learning the guitar a much simpler task. My online guitar tutorial will use Flash to provide the user with a multimedia learning environment. Flash allows users with computers and a connection to the Internet the ability to download content which is rich in multimedia quickly and easily. I hope to provide a beginner guitar player with all of the tools and tutorials necessary to learn how to play guitar in a short amount of time.
