Download free Fundamentals of Analytical Chemistry.pdf The object of the laboratory part of this course is to provide experience in a variety of instrumental and analytical techniques. A report will be required for each experiment.

Lab reports consist of the Report Sheet from each experimental handout plus additional graphs as required. All lab reports are due at the beginning of the next laboratory meeting after completing the experiment. Points will be deducted for unexcused late reports at the rate of 10% per day. Be sure to include your name, title of experiment, section number, group letter, names of lab partners (if any), and especially an unknown number on all reports.

You must keep a laboratory notebook. The notebook must state what you did and what you observed, and it should be understandable by another person in the course. Read section 2-2 in the book and see the example on p. 35 for more details.
